# Configure Axiom organization

> This section explains how to configure your Axiom organization.

## Determine organization ID

1. Click <Icon icon="gear" iconType="solid" /> **Settings > General**.
2. Find organization ID in the **ID** section.

## Determine organization edge deployment

1. Click <Icon icon="gear" iconType="solid" /> **Settings > General**.
2. Find your organization’s default edge deployment in the **Edge deployment** section.

## Set default dataset retention period

1. Click <Icon icon="gear" iconType="solid" /> **Settings > General**.
2. Click <Icon icon="pen-to-square" iconType="regular" /> next to the **Default dataset retention** section.
3. Specify the default dataset retention period.
4. Click **Submit**.

## Turn Axiom AI on or off

Features powered by Axiom AI allow you to get insights from your data faster. These features are powered by leading foundation models through trusted enterprise providers including Amazon Bedrock and Google Gemini. Your inputs and outputs are never used to train generative models.

AI features are turned on by default for most customers. You can turn them on or off anytime for the whole organization, for example, for regulatory and compliance reasons.

  If your organization has a Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with Axiom to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), AI features aren’t available.

To turn Axiom AI on or off:

1. Click <Icon icon="gear" iconType="solid" /> **Settings > General**.
2. Click **Turn on Axiom AI** or **Turn off Axiom AI**.

## Delete organization

<Warning>
  This is a destructive action. After you delete your organization, you lose access to all data within that org.
</Warning>

To delete your organization:

1. Back up your data. You aren’t able to access the data after deleting the org.
2. Click <Icon icon="gear" iconType="solid" /> **Settings > General**
3. Click **Delete organization**.
