We’re proud to announce that Axiom has earned ISO 27001 certification for our information security management systems.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard gives businesses, regardless of their size or industry, a framework to create, implement, sustain and enhance their information security management systems (ISMS).
Achieving compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 verifies that Axiom has established a robust system to manage information security risks concerning the data we control or process, adhering to the highest standards and practices outlined in this international standard.
To earn certification Axiom completed all of these over a six-month period:
- Setting technical controls
- Implementing policies
- Conducting security training
- Creating a project plan
- Defining the scope of the ISMS
- Performing a risk assessment and gap analysis
- Designing and implementing policies and controls
- Completing employee training
- Documenting and collecting evidence
Of course, ISO 27001 isn’t a destination — it’s another milestone in an ongoing journey to guard and improve security constantly.
