Partner program guide

How the Axiom Partner Program works: partner types, rewards, attribution, payouts, and program requirements.

This Partner Program Guide was last updated on August 20, 2026. It constitutes the "Program Requirements" referenced in, forms part of, and is subject to the terms of the Axiom Partner Agreement, available at https://axiom.co/docs/legal/partner-agreement. The version published at https://axiom.co/docs/legal/partner-program-guide governs, subject to Section 8.

Welcome

Axiom is the modern machine data platform. Teams use it to keep every log, event, trace, and metric economically, without the need for sampling or shortened retention. Thousands of organizations run on it, from breakout companies to enterprises moving petabyte-scale workloads off legacy platforms.

Good recommendations come from all kinds of people. The Axiom Partner Program rewards the people and companies who introduce Axiom to teams that should be using it, with a share of the revenue those introductions create rather than a token bounty for a click.

Partner types

Public Partner: open to anyone approved into the program, including practitioners and advocates, creators and community builders, advisors and technology companies. Public Partners refer through a unique referral link and earn 5% of eligible revenue during each referred customer's Reward Period. The standard Public Partner terms are published in this guide and the Axiom Partner Agreement.

Preferred Partner: invitation-based, for companies that regularly bring qualified customer opportunities to Axiom. Preferred Partners register deals directly with the Axiom partner team and receive enhanced rewards and structured co-selling support. Commercial terms are agreed individually and set out in an exhibit to the partner's agreement.

Strategic Partner: invitation-based, for companies with deep customer relationships in a market or territory who lead opportunities at significant scale, including reselling arrangements (see the Reseller Addendum to the Axiom Partner Agreement). Commercial terms are agreed individually and set out in an exhibit to the partner's agreement.

Feature-Attached Partner: reserved for partners who have built and maintain Axiom-supported product integrations whose customer adoption is verifiable through product usage. Terms are agreed individually with the Axiom partner team.

The click-through Axiom Partner Agreement governs Public Partners. Preferred, Strategic, and Feature-Attached partnerships require separate written terms agreed with Axiom; those written terms control if they differ from this guide.

To discuss Preferred, Strategic, or Feature-Attached partnership, contact partners@axiom.co or mention it in your program application.

How it works (Public Partners)

  1. Apply and get your link. Apply at partners.dub.co/axiom. Applications are reviewed by the Axiom team; approval is at Axiom's discretion. Once approved, you receive a unique referral link and access to a partner dashboard showing your referrals, commissions, and payouts.
  2. Make the introduction. Share Axiom where it genuinely fits. When someone follows your link and signs up, the signup is attributed to you.
  3. Earn as they spend. When the referred organization becomes a paying Axiom customer, its 12-month Reward Period begins. You earn 5% of eligible revenue from payments made during that period.

Program Requirements

The following sections set out the operative requirements referenced by the Axiom Partner Agreement. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Agreement.

1. Products and Services

The Products and Services covered by the program are Axiom Cloud subscriptions and usage, as offered publicly by Axiom.

2. Eligibility and approval

Individuals and entities may apply. Axiom reviews each application at its discretion and may decline an application, including for competitive conflict or restricted locations. Participation requires acceptance of the Axiom Partner Agreement. Once a Public Partner is approved, suspension and termination are governed by the Agreement.

3. Referral attribution

Public Partners. Following a partner's referral link sets a 90-day attribution cookie. If the person creates an Axiom organization during that window, the resulting organization is attributed to the partner and becomes a Qualified Lead. The 90-day Attribution Window applies only between the referral-link click and creation of the Axiom organization. Once attributed, the Qualified Lead remains attributed if it becomes a paying customer later, unless Axiom removes the attribution under the Agreement or these Program Requirements; the Reward Period does not begin until the organization becomes a paying customer. The Prospect must be new to Axiom: existing customers, prospects already engaged with Axiom's sales team, and prospects previously referred by another party cannot be attributed retroactively.

Registered deals (Preferred and Strategic Partners). A partner registers a named prospect with the Axiom partner team at partners@axiom.co. Axiom confirms or declines the registration in writing; a prospect qualifies only if it is not a current Axiom customer, not on Axiom's sales forecast, and not previously referred by another party. A confirmed registration is valid for 90 days from Axiom's written confirmation and states its expiry date. If the prospect has not become a paying customer when the registration expires, the registration lapses and the prospect reverts to unregistered status; Axiom will extend a registration on written request where the partner is actively progressing the opportunity. A lapsed registration may be re-submitted if the prospect remains unclaimed.

4. Eligible revenue

For Public Partners, eligible revenue comprises the following, calculated on amounts the customer actually paid to Axiom:

  • Axiom Cloud Platform Fee
  • Compute credit purchases
  • Data Loading Compute (usage-based)
  • Query Compute (usage-based)

Excluded: storage, add-ons (including RBAC, Audit Log, SAML SSO, and Directory Sync), implementation or professional services, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and credited or uncollected amounts.

For Preferred, Strategic, and Feature-Attached Partners, eligible revenue is defined in the partner's agreement exhibit.

5. Rewards and the Reward Period

  • Public Partner reward: 5% of eligible revenue.
  • Reward Period: 12 months beginning when the referred organization first becomes a paying Axiom customer. There is no cap on eligible revenue within the Reward Period; no rewards accrue on revenue received after it ends.
  • The Reward Period is separate from the 90-day Attribution Window described in Section 3. A Qualified Lead may become a paying customer after the Attribution Window has ended because its attribution was fixed when the Axiom organization was created.
  • The 90-day registration validity for Preferred and Strategic registered deals is separate from both the Public Partner Attribution Window and the Reward Period.

6. Payouts

  • Commissions become payable after a 30-day holding period from the corresponding paid invoice (safeguarding against refunds and chargebacks), and are paid in the next monthly payout cycle.
  • Minimum payout: $20. Balances below the minimum roll forward until reached.
  • Payouts are made via the payout method connected in the partner dashboard; method availability and any receiving fees depend on the partner's location, per Dub's payout documentation.
  • Compute credits election: partners with an active Axiom Cloud account may request rewards as Axiom compute credits of equivalent value instead of cash; contact partners@axiom.co to elect this.
  • Partners are responsible for their own tax obligations; tax documentation is collected through the partner dashboard where applicable.

7. Promotion rules

These rules keep the program fair for every partner and keep referrals worth what they say they are. The following aren't permitted and may result in suspension or termination under the Agreement. As provided in the Agreement, Axiom may withhold, cancel, or offset amounts otherwise payable against losses resulting from a partner's breach, fraud, or prohibited conduct:

  • Bidding on Axiom brand terms in paid search
  • Misrepresenting Axiom's pricing, capabilities, or terms
  • Posting referral links on coupon or deal sites
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk outreach
  • Self-referrals or referrals of entities the partner controls
  • Making representations, warranties, or commitments on Axiom's behalf

8. Changes

Axiom may update this guide from time to time in its discretion by publishing the updated terms and notifying Public Partners through the email address associated with their accounts. Unless otherwise stated, updates take effect on the earlier of 30 days after publication and notice or a partner's continued participation after notice. Changes required by law and changes that benefit partners may take effect immediately. Updated terms apply to rewards earned on or after their effective date, including rewards relating to existing Qualified Leads and customers, but do not affect rewards earned before that date.
